A bit of us
The history of FIDIA Group SA has no roots but foundations. Because it was born with cement: it was Sisto Pitocco who founded it and worked in Alatri, passing on his knowledge to his two sons, Dario and Giuseppe.
Sisto’s teaching was that: “jobs must be clean, carried out quickly, with skilled labor, in a workmanlike manner.”
Where FIDIA Begins
The reality of FIDIA GROUP starts from afar, with the work done by Sisto.
Sisto had a small artisan company in Alatri, where Dario and Giuseppe took their first steps.
There they understood the meaning and value of the word ‘work’. That is why they wanted to maintain a family-run business: the two brothers share visions and choices.
“If you work with passion, you never stop being on site. You do it more broadly, with more skills and more responsibility. But you will always continue to get your hands dirty by working hard for hours on end. I am not ashamed to say that I help my workers especially when it comes to working with marble.”

The transition from the small business in Alatri to the world of luxury
The real turning point came in the late 1980s: to be precise, in 1988, when FIDIA was awarded the contract for the construction of the “Città Bianca” in Veroli, the Villa Azzurra Clinic in Mentana, and the renovation of the INI building in Grottaferrata.
These projects served as a launching pad that propelled the company onto the national stage, thanks to their precision, cleanliness, and adherence to the highest standards in execution.
The transition to Luxury
From the renovation of a luxury villa spanning over 3000 square meters for a famous fashion entrepreneur, the decision was made to focus on constructing luxury villas, prestigious buildings, and high-end shopping centers.
This choice was decisive: eliminating low-cost and low-quality projects to concentrate solely on luxury projects both in Italy and abroad.
In 2011, following the economic crisis, I decided to relocate to Switzerland, specifically to Geneva. The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Geneva entrusted us with the renovation of 450 rooms and 450 bathrooms. It was an unparalleled project, something extraordinary and exciting, a job imbued with Italian flair and executed using materials made in Italy.
It was as if, in a domino effect, the impact cascaded and shortly thereafter, many contracts arrived from all over Switzerland.
The bet we made in Italy, focusing on quality, turned out to be the winning card.
After Crowne Plaza, other prestigious commissions followed…
The Ciociaria workforce is highly appreciated abroad, which is a source of pride for FIDIA.
The dedication of workers from the province of Frosinone has satisfied clients such as the Rothschild Family, boutiques like Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Dior, Hermès, and chains like Crowne Plaza, Plaza in Nice, and the Manor Group.
